As you may know, Friday Fellow Anita Brown Graham (97-99) recently rejoined the School of Government at UNC Chapel Hill (SOG) to launch an exciting new initiative – ncIMPACT. This comes in response to calls for the SOG to better help civic leaders navigate many of the same policy challenges we address through the Friday Fellowship. Through a combination of advanced data analytics and rigorous substantive research, ncIMPACT will support leaders across the state as they consider a full range of highly effective government, community-based, and free-market approaches to community problems. By helping leaders to solve our state’s most complex issues, this initiative strengthens the SOG’s core mission and our collective aspiration – to improve the lives of North Carolinians.

ncIMPACT has deployed a brief survey to get more detail on specific questions and tools needed in NC. Please share your thoughts. Your responses will direct how this new initiative builds on the SOG’s 80-plus years of work across the state as ncIMPACT helps leaders, such as yourself, address complex problems.
