“Diversity is a strength that increases the chances of adapting to changing environments. But navigating diversity calls for real skill especially amid today’s accelerating pace of change.” This brief article by two professors from Yale’s Center for Emotional Intelligence is a good reminder of what we in the Friday Fellowship all know to be true, but may be harder to remember in the current climate. It also has great links to dig deeper. For those of you ready to engage in more conversations across differences in your own community, check out the link to the Living Room Conversations Project and be in touch so I can support you and share how you are improving human relations across the state.
